The best label printer we have used is the Zebra GK420D.
The Thermal Transfer model (TT) is cheaper to run and doesn't require ribbons.
If you need labels that don't fade in direct sunight and are more durable then go for Direct Thermal (DT) which requires a ribbon to print.
