No printed cash up summary

Once cash up has been done there is no printed cashup summary.

So if there has been a problem with cashup there is nothing to put a manual flag on to highlight as a double check.

So errors can be lost more easily..

When you complete the cashing up, a summary receipt can be printed.

This has to be enabled here 'Tools > Options > Point of Sale > Printing > Advanced Print Options > Print till Z report to receipt printer'.

Fabulous!! again could this be a global selection choice within Tools / Options / Printing so that it does it automaticaly when you save your cashup? So that staff don't have to go looking for it when they are trying to get away at night??

As long as the option is ticked in the Advanced Print window, the cashing up summary (Z Total) will automatically print upon completion of the cashing up window.

sorry John, did the above and all it did was stream loads of paper through the receipt printer to the point i had to turn it off...???

BTW a Y end of shift report lists transactions but doesn`t reset totals...

a Z end of day report gives you the cashup summary ie expected cash, actual cash, error...axpected card...etc and resets totals...

i wouldn`t expect a transaction list on a Z report..but it looks like a report designer change could fix...

Will try again when i`m in before we open.

The Z Totals receipts that are printed can be a rather long, generally about as long as your arm.

If it is printing rubbish, please send us a photo of what is printing out to support@easify.co.uk as well as the make and model of your printer so that we can have a better idea of what is going on.

OMG - soooooo sorry!!! seems to be printing fine today - cashed up this morning and it's perfect - don't know what I saw yesterday..but the pre-printed report had all the days transactions on it and then there was no printing it all - it just fed through paper... weird!!
