Hi Andy, a diary is something that we would love to code into Easify! We've come close to doing it a few times but it's a pretty big job and would need a lot of testing. Unfotrunately so far the diary has always been knocked off pole position by other more pressing parts of the project.

But hopefully before too long we will be able to include this feature  

The closest you can do at the moment is to set the schedule of a job by opening the order and ticking teh job to say it is scheduled in the scheduled tab. You can then set a date, time and duration for the job. These dates show up in the main orders and quotes window, and you can sort by the Due Date column to put the active jobs into scheduled date order. We've included simple colour coding here so that jobs due today are in green whereas jobs due in the past appear red.

As this post is nearly two years ago! Are you any nearer including some form of diary system where you can set a reminder to call/email a customer about renewing their Internet Security / M.O.T / Service etc, as examples......

Wouldn't really want to create or schedule a job to do this but something that would highlight the task on a particular date would be a great addition and something a lot of users would find handy I would think.

Is that really 2 years that have passed!?  

We haven't had many requests for the calendaring features lately. but it's definitely on the list of things to do...

If it's any consolation, we're just finishing off the new code for the product history reporting - which has been on the todo list for some time now. It's going to be pretty cool allowing you to view product sales history from the customers windows (see what products a customer has purchased), from the products windows (see how a particular product has sold over time), and also from the suppliers windows (see how products from a particular supplier have sold over time). All will be totally CSV exportable too...

Will give the calendaring a bump here for when we've got a bit of free development time.
