We would like to be able to log in at point of sale to identify the operator. At present the PC gets logged in by a user and another operator uses the machine to process a sale under another users name.
I know we can log off every time but could you give this some thought.

This is a very good suggestion. in addition, the option to login as an operator, but process a sale on another user, would be brilliant. Allows for better sales tracking. What you think?
We've had a feature request for 'Fast user Switching' on the POS open for some time now, but unfortunately it keeps getting pushed back by other more urgent modifications. It's definitely something that we are keen to implement though 
The idea would be to allow users to log on at the POS using a PIN code which would switch to their login so their identity would be recorded for the sale. The POS would also switch to having their permissions too.
So definitely in the pipeline but no ETA as yet.
