Account functionality

Hi Guys, Just wondering if you could look at the possibility of adding in an account on stop option. where if the customers account is on stop and you try to enter it into a sale it would flag up this customers account is on stop and would not let you continue through the sale. As the only option currently is to remove there credit limit, but this would still allow the sale to be processed. I think this would be a very simple but effective tool.

Looking forward to the new update soon, cant wait to see what you guys have got in store for us. Also we are looking at upgrading to the easu upgrade as we would prefer to be able to take advantage of the automatic back up system. Can easu just be installed over the top of the basic version?

Hi Lee and welcome to the forum!

This is a good feature request and I've just added it to our feature list and will be reviewed for a future update.

Regarding the EASU upgrade, yes this should be installed on the computer that holds your Easify database (usually the first computer you installed Easify on).

Another thing that I would really like to see is to be able to view movement on a part number at the click of a button, in the same way that if you select a supplier you can see the supplier purchase history and also with customers you can see there order history in the box at the bottom. I know you can run a report to see how many units you have sold but this would enable people to be able to look at the history on a single product very quickly, if the box showing the history showed date of sale, qty, customer and possibly selling price, this would enable you to quickly check if the customer has purchased this item before and what price they paid. I currently have to look through the customers sale history and depending on the customer this can sometimes be very time consuming.

Has been requested many times before, hoping this was going to be in FP7?

I'm afraid this feature didn't make it into FP7, fingers crossed it'll be added into the next.

It is a real shame that product sales history did not make FP7. On the flip side what a fantastic job Easify have done to make all the changes so far. Thanks.

Yes, we're really gutted whenever we have to leave things out like that - it's definitely a feature we want in there for ourselves so it's at the forefront of our minds to do.

We've got some EASU mods and a freeware PHP OSCommerce connector we will be releasing in a week or two which will round of the FP7 upgrade (the new FP7 client upgrade is still happening on Monday 1st July, just EASU will be a few days after). After that we're straight onto FP8 and we're aiming to have that turned around within 3 months this time. I'm going to flag the sales history feature for FP8 and hopefully it won't have to slip this time.

Looking forward to the updates, any idea when Easify can be used on tablet/I-things as I have a customer that I am trying to get to use Easify but they need this functionality? Also I and I'm sure many others would find this handy!

We've got some work in progress on a mobile versio (Tablet/Smartphone), it's going to be part of EASU when it's finished.

Not sure when we'll be able to get it into production, probably not FP8 but more likely FP9.

When it's a bit more complete I'd be happy to release a beta preview of it if you're interested
