Good Morning
We use Easify for both an EPOS system and for saving customer details. We are a small computer repair company and have a fair number of pieces of equipment coming into us on a daily basis and we usually ask the client if they have used us before and if so, search customer details and write down everything from easify on a booking in form (which is a little time consuming). On the new release, could there be an option of printing the client details straight from the screen and also the ability of adding custom fields to customer details such as the standard "name", "address", "postcode" but also having a few blank fields so that we can add such as "Laptop Model", "Operating System" etc.
The blank fields will come in so handy if this is possible.
Hi BSP Welcome to our new forum
From the POS you can enter customer details via F5 button (and if you have a postcode lookup PIN) you can fill in their address automatically by looking up their postcode. If you add a product such as 'laptop repair' you can enter notes for that item directly on the POS by pressing F4. Here you could enter the fault description, serial numbers etc... With the latest version of Easify (FP5) you can now print job cards straight from the POS by pressing Ctrl+P or pressing the POS print button.
PS. You can also enable a serial number column for orders in the backend and POS via Tools->Options->Orders & Quotes->Advanced - Serial number column. If you enable this you can enter serial numbers for products when pressing F4 in the POS. You can rename this column to whaterver you like so could be useful for entering additional info for jobs.
Don't know if that helps at all but will certainly consider ways to streamline booking in of jobs at the POS.
