Many thanks to everyone that has helped us by submitting bug reports. Please don't hesitate to let us know if you encounter problems ASAP and we will get them resolved as quickly as we can.
Easify Cloud Server is a new service whereby we host your Easify Server in the rock solid and secure Microsoft Azure Cloud, and you use the Easify Windows Client software (Easify Pro V4 Client) to access your server from anywhere you have internet access.
For a nominal fee each month we will fully manage your Easify Server. We backup your data each day, and securely copy the backup to two other backup locations in separate geographical locations. We will handle any upgrades that are required for Easify, and your Easify Server will be running on top of the range server hardware giving you the best performance possible.
Remote access to your Easify Server is all managed and configured by us, so you won't require IT technical skills to publish your Easify Server to be accessible over the internet.
For the past few months we have been heavily focussing on getting the new Easify V4 Wordpress/WooCommerce plugin and all new Easify Cloud API for ecommerce completed and ready for release.
The Wordpress/WooCommerce plugin is complete, which allows you to upload products to your website from Easify, and we are now completing the Easify Cloud API system that will handle flowing orders raised on your website back into your Easify Server for further processing and accounting.
The new Easify Cloud API will also make it much easier for developers to write custom plugins for Easify, sending an order to an Easify Server via the new Easify Cloud API will only require a single call - which is much simpler than the old V3 EASU way of doing things. As a result you can expect to see more Easify ecommerce connectors for various online shop platforms being released by 3rd party developers in 2017.
Later in the year we will be releasing an open beta version of an Easify > Ebay connector. This will allow you to upload products from Easify to Ebay, as well as your website and will be another step towards Easify becoming a fully multi-channel solution out of the box.
We hope to soon be releasing a new reporting subscription for Easify V4.
For a nominal monthly fee this will allow you to connect 3rd party applications such as Microsoft Excel or Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) which will allow you to pull out the data from your Easify Server and analyse it in a 3rd party application.
Also coming early in 2017 will be an open beta version of our new cloud based service "Easify in a Browser".
Easify in a Browser will allow you to access all of your Easify reports in a web browser using your mobile phone, tablet, laptop or desktop.
This new service will be available at no extra cost to anyone with an Easify User Subscription.
Later in the year Easify in a Browser will be expanded to provide additional functionality so that ultimately you will be able to use most of the features of Easify in a web browser on any platform.
No, if you wish to upgrade from Easify V3 you can go straight from Easify V3 to V4.33 by running the Easify V4 installer.
No, anyone who is using Easify V4 will benefit from the update.
