Welcome back - great to see you in the new forum 
The reason you couldn't use the new forum under your old name was that your email address has changed since then. I've re-jigged your account so that you have your original identity back again.
We haven't managed to code in the -ve stock level idea yet. The past 2 years have been largely eaten up with getting the V4 development completed which has put a hold on us coding new features.
However we're gearing up to start back into the feature request list and this one will certainly be looked at.
We have a patch coming out for V4 in a few days that will fix a few teething issues, and straight after that we will start coding some brand new features.

We haven't included this feature because it would require a total re-write and re-test of the stock control system. It's something we want to do, but the enormity of the task is keeping it in the feature request list at present.
