In theory you could remove the demo database by using Microsoft SQL Manager, but this may cause the backups to fail as we haven't tested running the backups without a demo database present.

The reason I ask is that we backup Easify to some online storage and we keep an archive of previous backups and having to archive the demo data on each backup cycle is wasting storage space and upload time.

Could it be put on the list of 'non-critical-to-do features' for a future release?

No problem Lee, will raise a feature request for review that we make the backup of demo data optional.

With your online storage provider could you not upload the demo data backup and just upload the live data backup?

If you ever need to do a restore you don't have to restore the demo data, you can just restore the live data.
