Confirmed for Feature Pack 6 - POS Receipt Enhancements

The next round of improvements that we can confirm as part of a free upgrade in Easify Feature pack 6 are related to receipt printing.

By popular demand we are introducing the ability to print customisable logos on till receipts, as well as the option to print either to ESCPOS compatible receipt printers or to any printer with a Windows driver. Some of you had asked for the ability to print till receipts to a standard inkjet or laser printer, with FP6 you will be able to do so.

There's also a new facility to preview your receipts within the Options window so that you can easily see how your till receipts will print without having to actually 'try one'.

We're adding a new receipt printer 'Post Print Code' field where you can specify additional ESC/POS codes to be sent to the printer after a receipt is printed. This is a good place to specify cut codes for your printer. What's more we've included the ability to test both the till open commands and the post print commands directly within the EPOS options screen. Again this means you can experiment with cash drawer kick codes and cut codes instantly without having to print a test receipt.

Finally we're adding the ability to print till receipts from the back-end too. So if you hop into an order and click the 'Take Payment for Order' button you will have the option to print a till receipt while you're in there (assuming of course you have a receipt printer connected).
