Error RefreshDocumentListView() not valid for filePath
RefreshDocumentListView() Value of '<DOCUMENT_PATH>' is not valid for 'filePath'.
This error message appears in Easify versions between V3.52.1.16 and V3.52.1.18 and is caused by to the use of UNC paths for the Document Management System (DMS).
(UNC paths are network shared folders and look like this: \\COMPUTER-NAME\EasifyDMS\)
The error stems from a part of the Microsoft Framework we utilise to handle file management. We are working on a fix for the next release of Easify. In the meantime there are two work arounds.
Go to 'Tools > Options > General > Document Management' and set to the 'Path where documents will be stored' value to one of the following:
- Browse and select a local directory to store DMS documents (this is recommended for those only using a single Easify client and who do not require document sharing over a network).
- Setup a persistent mapped network drive and set the DMS path to the drive letter you select (this still allows for network sharing but is tricky to setup if you have no prior knowledge, I'd recommend finding a guide via Google using the keyword search of 'setting up a mapped network drive')
