Re: customer accounts
Hi Richard
thanks for the reply,
i'm still having difficulty with this. i run a golf shop within a golf club where i hold accounts for all my members the majority of my members will have credit in their accounts with a small few in debit. each week i would add more credit on their accounts from winnings vouchers and cash.
so for example if a member comes in to buy a glove they may have 12.56 credit and the golf is £16 can i take this off their account and put them in a minus figure. and then vice versa if i add a customer can i put them in a minus figure and allow them to continue adding to the minus until they are ready to pay me.
kind regards
niall

I am having some trouble setting up customer accounts, i run customer credit accounts (therefore many of my customers will have credit in the shop to a max of £1000 i also allow customers to run into the red and pay me back in installments) is there a function that will allow me to set up this type of account for my customers.
thanks
Niall
Hi Niall,
Yes, if you open the customers record from the main Customers window you can enter a credit limit for them and they can then pay on account.
You can also set their payment terms and then when you run the Aged Debtors report it will show you who owes you what and when it is due.
Running the Bulk Customer Statements report will allow you to print or email customer statements to customers that owe you money.
