We haven't had any reports of barcode issues with V4.48 and price labels.
Can you make sure the barcode font is installed properly?
On your Windows Desktop, right click and select New -> Text Document.
Open the text document in Notepad and type some text e.g. 123456.
Click the Format -> Font menu.
Note what the font is currently set to so you can set it back to this value later.
Select the 3 of 9 Barcode font and click OK.
The 123456 should now appear as a barcode.
This will test whether the 3 of 9 Barcode font is properly installed.

I've just upgrade and i've lost the barcode font too. It shows as available in notepad, even though it doesn't work, but doesn't show up at all in the Fonts folder.

Fixed it, a reboot does the job.

Can you launch a command prompt (Windows Start button, type cmd
and press Enter
).
In the command prompt type:
dir c:\windows\fonts
Press Enter
.
At the top of the resulting list do you have 3of9.ttf showing? Does 3of9 show up in multiple lines?
