Hi Andy,

We're currently working on the Easify Website control panel that will allow the eBay plugin to be configured. Hopefully won't be long now and we can get the first beta version out there.

Hi Andy,

We are releasing a new update to Easify at the end of next week which will have the first parts of the eBay connector code in it. It won't be the full eBay connector yet, but we are including the ability to set product conditions and condition notes (as well as a few internal tweaks) in Easify Pro as this is required by eBay.

Shortly after that we will be releasing a further update with the ability to fully configure eBay product listings from within Easify Pro.

We've just released V4.48 which has some modifications to the Easify core to support some of the requirements of eBay. From here we can add in the remaining features (most of which are coded) and with a fair wind, should be able to get the next update out in the next 2 weeks which will have the ebay connector in it.

Sorry for the delay Andy.

We hit a few technical issues with the eBay connector that took a while to overcome, but have got them behind us now and are moving on with it once again.

This week we have been bringing online and testing the various cloud servers that will be required to support the eBay connections. And we've been completing the testing on the configuration side of things.

We've decided to put as much of the eBay configuration into Easify Pro as we can rather than have it separated into a website control panel. This has added a bit onto the time taken to get it done, but will make it much easier to manage for end users.

I don't have a release date yet, but it is becoming imminent.

Re: ebay

Just a quick update on the eBay connector for Easify...

We were hoping to have the beta version of the eBay connector out by now ( actually a number of weeks ago). However we hit some tricky technical issues that we had to overcome, most importantly latency issues that made the eBay configuration interface in Easify Pro unusable in terms of performance.

I'm happy to say that we've managed to overcome the technical issues with the eBay API and things are progressing well again.

Due to the nature of working with the eBay API (it's huge and complex), and that we don't know what problems we will encounter with it until we encounter them I can't put a definite timescale on the release date, but I can say that we're picking up speed with the development once more and hopefully things should happen fairly quickly now.

As I mentioned previously, all of our various cloud servers are in place and ready to use for the eBay connector, the configuration code (a major part of the system) is almost complete and we're now wiring it into Easify Pro. After that we need to do a few tweaks to our eBay server code and we should be ready for a release.

Hi Andy,

I've opened up a new forum for discussions the eBay connector, including a progress update.
