EASU - eCommerce problems after Easify restore

This FAQ only applies to the Easify Advanced Server Upgrade (EASU), and more specifically to the scenario where you experience eCommerce issues after restoring Easify from a backup.

When trying to use Easify eCommerce functionality such as publishing a product to the website or changing a product stock level, you get an exception along the lines of:

"An error occurred in the Microsoft .NET Framework while trying to load assembly id 65575. The server may be running out of resources, or the assembly may not be trusted with PERMISSION_SET = EXTERNAL_ACCESS or UNSAFE. Run the query again, or check documentation to see how to solve the assembly trust issues.".

You will need to re-enable the permissions for the Easify assemblies with the command ALTER DATABASE <COMPANY_NAME> SET TRUSTWORTHY ON.

Hi Andy, release is imminent. We're just finishing off a few client side updates and documentation. Hope to have it out in a matter of days now.
