2 PC's 2 business' but can you share the DB

Ok so this is what got me into trouble the other day,..So before I go mucking about again....

We have easify loaded onto my existing till PC to take over our retail shop SugarCraftShop..

The second PC is in the office running easify for the trade business setup Bonzo the Barking Baker..this db will be put onto a new PC when the Industrial Unit opens..

Can the Office PC be a client for SugarCraftShop? as there are a lot of amendments to do and it would be easier if these were done in the office..

Yes it is possible to setup one of your Easify companies to purchase from the other. This is not in any way automated, meaning you'd have to treat each company as a supplier and raise purchase orders to represent the transfer of stock between companies.

We're hoping to include a multi branch feature that would allow more automation for this type of setup but it is only in the discussion stage at the moment.

Sorry didn't explain myself very well... I was just giving you the set up..

I want to be able to make changes to the SugarCraftShop DB in the retail shop from the office PC..

BUT the office is already running Easify as another business and trying to install the client onto the office PC already running Easify as Bonzo The Barking Baker didn't seem to work???

Thoughts...Ta much

My apologies, yes it is possible for Easify to manage two separate companies on a single computer.

This requires a single EASU license installed on your main Easify database computer.
