The scrolling marquee cannot currently be turned off.
I have added a feature request so that this may be included in a future update.

I just saw this one get raised in our issue tracking system.
Have flagged it to be done for a Feature Pack 8 Update Patch that we will be releasing in about a week's time.
We will add a checkbox in Easify options so that you can hide the scrolling marquee HTH
