I'm not sure why you'd want to publish product details to the knowledge base?

If you'd like to make a more customisable information page for your product you can go to the info tab when editing a product. This can contain a product image as well as a HTML editor so you can make a styled product information page.

Most of our product have product sheet that are PDF from the manufacture. we like to add data to that product on the knowledge base let say faults meter reading etc. etc. it would use the same category and sub category as the products making it easier to find the information .

Ok, I can see where you're coming from now.

If we could link knowledge base articles and product info articles, so you can search for product information via the knowledge base section.. this could make product information searching easier to find, create, edit and access.

Maybe we could add a document management aspect to each knowledge base article too, I shall add this to our feature request list.
