Putting Orders Away for Customers and other questions.

Hi,

I have a couple of questions about my trial version. I love some of the new features in Easify, but I am having a couple of issues which I need to resolve.

1. I have a need to put away stock for customers so they can pick it up bit by bit. I need to be able to allocate stock and to know where I have put it. Is there a way to do this in Easify?

2.I am not used to raising purchase orders as such, but I do need to add inventory by scanner when I have a delivery. My present system just has an 'inventory received' button where I can enter the amount that has come in once I have scanned the barcode,. I cannot find such a facility in Easify.

3. Using the Point of Sale, if I have any items without barcodes, is there room for manual entry and how do I do this please as I have a lot of items which do not have barcodes..

Re: Putting Orders Away for Customers and other questions.

Hi Valbuh and welcome to the forums,

[1] It would be possible to use the comments field of each line item to record things such as the location of the allocated stock, such as (kept on 'Collection Shelf 2' waiting for customer to collect). I have just raised this as a feature request on our system that will look into adding a specific feature to handle this in a future update.

[2] Currently stock levels should ideally be updated by using the Purchasing system, alternatively you should manually increase your stock levels by editing each product record. We have a feature request raised for this sort of quick and dirty stock booking system in case our users just want a quicker way to increase their stock levels when stock comes in.

[3] We recommend creating a product called 'Miscellaneous', set with a zero price, for these type of products. As with the above points I've raised a note on our system to look at including a feature to the POS that can more accommodate this.
