Running Easify over 2 sites/machines

Hello,

I've seen some previous mentions of this on the board but just wanted to ask whether there is any further thoughts on the functionality for the same Easify database to run either across 2 PCs/2 different sites, ensuring that records are updated as they are changed? There may be a time (hopefully sooner rather than later!!) where we look at opening a second location and we would very much like to continue using Easify but it would depend on the ability to network the two locations and sync the databases with each other.

We've got multi branch capabilities in the pipeline to be reviewed, but to be honest it's not going to be implemented in the near future.

We do have users that use Easify for running multiple locations, but they use VPN or Remote Desktop technologies and have the database hosted at one of their premises. So if you have a decent broadband link i.e. ADSL 2+ or FTTC you can use a VPN link or Remote Desktop.

Hey Richard

Thanks that, it's very helpful. As long as there is capability for us to run via VPN that should be OK. Manchester is in the process of being upgraded to FTTC so hopefully it should be OK for now, but eventually we would like to have a multi-branch facility.
