Till front end change to eliminate use of Function Keys
I'm not yet a full Easify user.. the back end function and stock ordering look to be a million times better than what we are using at the moment. So I think it's just a question of allocating time..
HOWEVER.. ProffittCenter (which is OpenSource) does handle the EPOS transaction function much better.
The field for entering the barcode/sku is alphanumeric and if I type in 3 letters it will bring up a table containing all the stock items containing these.. so for example if I need to sell a cupcake box I just type in - box and up pop all the boxes we sell.. you just select an item..
Within my list of items that I have entered for my customer, I can increment by just hitting return or just type *5 for example to enter 5 of an item.
Also when completing the final sale for cash you just enter the amount tendered in pence within the same box, hit return and that concludes the transaction...
When you have a shop full of customers every key stroke counts!!
Just wondered if it would be worth a look???
