Total Sales by Part Number

I would really appreciate a report to show how many times a product has sold between dates. Is this available now or can it be acheived in the future? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE

...sorry but going on from that it would need to be in excel or similar so that I could sort the data! 
...fastest selling items to slowest selling items for example.

The closest we have at the moment is the 'Sales by Product Category' report.
I shall add in your feature request to our tracking system.
