Box to input by SKU or search on Purchase Order screen

I may just be thick, And missing an easier way than drag 'n' drop, But a search box or "input by SKU" box on the purchase order form wouldn't go amiss

It's not very obvious, but you can type the SKU straight into the SKU box of a line item on a purchase, when you then tab or click another cell in the grid the product details will be pulled into the line item automatically.
