The location of the thermal receipt logo file is here on a 32-bit machine:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Easify\<COMPANY NAME>\Images\EposReceiptLogo.bmp

Or here on a 64-bit machine:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Easify\<COMPANY NAME>\Images\EposReceiptLogo.bmp

If you are having trouble working this out, click here for an article that will inform you how to work out if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit machine.

Once you find the file, edit it in an image editing programme such as Microsoft Paint or Paint.NET, remembering to save the file as a 'monochrome bitmap' so that it is compatible with your thermal receipt printer.

To add your VAT details to your thermal receipts please go to 'Tools > Options > Point of Sale > Printing' then click on the 'Receipt Text' button. This will allow you to add or edit header and footer information on thermal receipts.

.I Had thought there was a section to put all your business details in including the VAT number and logos for for invoices etc and to replace the @easify@ Logo on your business reports? Also On doing a product upload is there any way to upload the retail price of an item directly in to the retail price inc VAT field?

Yes indeed, there is a forum post in the FAQs section that walks you through customising your customer facing reports: http://www.easify.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=67

If you want to import products and you only have the cost price and inc VAT price, you will need to work out the margin. This can be done in an Excel spreadsheet using formulas. Here's the formula to work out the margin from the cost price and inc VAT price:

Margin = (1 - (CostPrice / (IncVATPrice / (1 + (TaxRate / 100))))) * 100

And here is a spreadsheet I made earlier  that demonstrates this formula in action.

Once you have added all the products you wish to enter into Easify into this spread sheet, save it as a CSV file and you can then import it.

We are looking at improving this in a future update to make things easier  but this is currently the only way.
