Hi
When you take payment using the cash rgister button from the back end it doesn't print a reciept, I have tried it with and without the print reciept ticked

I have just tested this on the latest version and I cannot find any issue.
Could you confirm that you have set the Receipt Printer in 'Tools > Options > Point of Sale > Printing' section to a thermal receipt printer and also that the 'ESC/POS' option is selected. Please note that if you are not using an 'ESC/POS' compatible printer (such as a standard A4 inkjet or laser printer) then you should select 'Windows' for the 'Print Driver Type'.

Yes the printer is set correct and works find from the point of sale screen, it is just when i go into orders and quote and take payment through there. I input the payment and select the correct payment type, at the bottom left is a print reciept tick box, Everything works find i.e payment is registered correctly but not reciept is printed

Ok, could you try something for me?
Go to 'Tools > Options > Point of Sale > Printing' then click the 'Print Test Receipt' button.
Does it print a test receipt?
Now create a test order and take payment via the backend, ticking the 'Print Receipt' check box. If a receipt doesn't print click on the 'Print' icon on the order toolbar and then select 'Reprint Previous Receipt'.
Does it print the receipt now?

Hi Jowo,
I have tested the 'Print Receipt' tick box using your database backup and it is all working fine in the lab. At this stage, I'd suggest reinstalling your thermal receipt printer.
It'd be useful to know which thermal receipt printer are you using?
