retail price listing to be VAT inclusive

I have successfully entered a few products using the CVS inport, the fields including description and cost because my purchase price includes VAT as I am not VAT registered

I can adjust the retail price to reflect my mark up .My product listing reflects the correct price but as soon as I enter it in point of sale it ads in the VAT

I have tried to default it to zero VAT (% VAT not registered ) but Vat is still included

two points that maybe you can assist me with

1st would it be possible to import cost and total retail price rather than a retail margin % so that I dont have to amend product individually

2nd the retail price to be the same as that shown on the point of sale not to include VAT

Hi BeeBox,

We have been asked to include the importing by sale price as a feature by quite a few users. This feature is on our hit list for the next update. In the mean time here is a tutorial that will make this process less of a manual task: http://easify.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=15

With regards to your importing products and them showing with VAT added on in the POS.

Could you make sure that you are importing the products with their respective VAT code, if you are not VAT registered then please create a 'Tax Code' column and use the letter N. This will make sure that each product is imported using the 'Not VAT registered' tax code and you should not get any VAT added on when adding these products in the POS.

We are hoping to have an update available early next year, but there have been no solid release dates announced as of yet.

There has still not been any announcement for the release of the next update.

I may have already asked you on another occasion but would like to be reminded

would this feature be available some time soon as i would like to go ahead and purchase

this product but feel that i may lose out on any future updates

I can confirm the ability to import Retail and Trade sell prices will be included in FP7.
