Print receipts on a Windows Printer

Hi all,

I am trying to setup receipt printing on a Windows printer and have gone through all the setup fine but when it comes to printing a test receipt I just get an error message which offers the options to Continue or Quit but doesnt print anything.

Looking a bit closer it says it is an unhandled exception in .NET Framework if anybody has any suggestions or experience of this I would be very grateful to hear about it.

I have updated my .NET Framework recently but I will check soon to make sure it is the latest version.

Just done so, thanks.

I tried updating .NET Framework to the latest version but it didnt make any difference, it is still coming up with the same error.

Thanks for the screenshot - a picture paints a thousand words  

It looks like a problem with the receipt logo image.

If you are not using a customised receipt logo for your company you can untick the Print Logo on Receipts tick box.

If you are using a customised logo you will need to make sure it is copied to the correct folder in Easify. The logo should be saved to C:\Program Files\Easify\<YOUR_COMPANY_NAME>\Images or if you're running 64 bit Windows C:\Program Files (x86)\Easify\<YOUR_COMPANY_NAME>\Images.

Where <YOUR_COMPANY_NAME> is the name of your company.

Unfortunately that did not work, I unticked the logo option and restarted but it still comes up with the same error.

I did notice that there was something that looked like an ActiveX control just before the error came up, I have sent you a picture of it.

The blank Window is the window that we use to render the receipt before printing it.

Did you still get *exactly* the same error as before even after unticking the logo tickbox?

Yes it says 'Parameter is not valid', just the same as before.
