I have set up a new purchase order and just received the order, with a shortage of delivery because of a back order situation. How do I partially receipt the products? I have ordered 5 of and only 4 of were sent and so I want to receipt 4 and leave one on "outstanding" on this purchase order. Thanks
Hi MaryJ and welcome to the forums.
Currently you need to create a new line item to represent the quantity of the product that is yet to be received. Then reduce the quantity of the existing line item to reflect the amount received.
I have raised a feature request so that this may be handled automatically when making a line item as received.
