Re: Mass editing 'Locations' via import
If when you import from CSV you also import the SKU column, Easify will know that the product already exists and will update the product details rather than add it as a new product and duplicate it.
When you preview your imported data in the Easify importer, the Action column will tell you whether the row of data will be Updated of Added as New. Your best bet is to map your columns, then preview the import and check to see what Easify intends to do with your data before importing it.
Also make sure you do a backup in Easify before importing your data, that way you can restore back if the import doesn’t go according to plan.
In a nutshell, the Easify importer will update imported products if they already exist.
If you get a warning, the data will still import OK - just that the warning is bringing something to your attention. If you get an error on a row then it will not import. You could try importing a single row from your CSV file to see what happens if you are unsure about how it will import.
Alternatively you can practice importing data on the Easify Demo database to make sure you've got it all setup Ok.
