Pole Display

If you have an RS232 serial pole display connected to your POS tick Enable Pole Display to enable it.

Pole Com Port
Specify the COM port that the pole is connected to if other than COM2.

Characters per line
Here you can specify how many characters wide your pole display is. The default setting is 20.

Initialisation Command
This is the ESC/POS command to send to your pole display when the Easify POS screen is loaded. The commands must be entered as decimal values separated by commas.

You can find out what the ESC/POS commands for your particular pole display are from your pole display manual.

Note: The button to the right of the Initialisation command text box will send the initialisation command straight to the pole when clicked. This is a handy way of testing the code, and also a good way to send configuration codes to your pole display.

Welcome Text
Here you can provide a message to be displayed when your POS till is idle. This could be your company name or a welcome message.

Note: The button to the right of the Welcome Text box will send the welcome text straight to the pole when clicked. This is a handy way of previewing how your welcome message will look on the pole.

Amount Due Text
This specifies the text to display alongside the amount due on the pole display. You can leave this as "Amount Due" if you are in an English speaking country, or you can enter the text in a language of your choosing.

Total Text
This specifies the text to display alongside the total on the pole display. You can leave this as "Total" if you are in an English speaking country, or you can enter the text in a language of your choosing.

Change Text
This specifies the text to display alongside the change on the pole display. You can leave this as "Change" if you are in an English speaking country, or you can enter the text in a language of your choosing.

Currency Symbol Code allows you to change the currency symbol that is displayed on the pole display. This is useful if you have a pole display with a non-standard code page.

Note: Easify compatible USB pole displays are available for purchase in our online shop.
