EASU is installed as an upgrade on top of your existing Easify installation, and must be installed on the same computer on which you installed your Easify database.

In this section we discuss how to install EASU for the first time. If you wish to install EASU for an additional company, please skip ahead to the section on Running Multiple Companies in Easify.

We recommend that before you upgrade your Easify installation with EASU, you download and install the latest version of Easify from http://www.easify.co.uk/downloads and upgrade your current Easify installation to the latest version.

Note: In order to install EASU the computer that you are installing on must be running a professional or server edition of Windows and not a home edition. This is due to various aspects of the Windows operating system that are used by EASU which are not present or supported in the home editions of Windows.

To begin, download the latest version of EASU from http://www.easify.co.uk/downloads and save it to your computer. 

Note: If you are installing EASU on Windows XP Professional or Windows Server 2003 you will be prompted for your Windows installation disks part way through the EASU installation process. So best to make sure that you have your Windows installation disks to hand before you start installation.

We recommend that before you install EASU, you reboot your computer and temporarily disable any anti-virus software that you have running as this may interfere with the installation process.

When you are ready to install EASU, double click the EASU setup program you downloaded. You will get the following window.



Click Next >> to continue.



Please read the software license terms, and if you accept them tick the box and click Next >>.



At the next window click Yes to begin the installation of EASU.

The EASU setup process will begin.

If you are running an older operating system such as Windows SP of Server 2003, you may be prompted for your Windows installation disks.



Insert your Windows disks and click OK to continue.

The installation process will continue for somewhere between 2 and 30 minutes depending on which version of Windows you are installing on, and which server components need to be installed.



When you get the above screen, your EASU installation is complete.

Once setup has completed, the Easify Advanced Server Manager will be displayed.
